The Suites Hotel at Waterfront Plaza - Duluth, MNEssential Duties and Responsibilities Performs preventative maintenance duties in guest rooms and all other areas of the hotel Responds to reported problems and issues and performs general repairs Assists with maintaining the pool area according to company and brand standards in addition to applicable state and local codes Maintains external property appearance including lawn, landscaping and parking lot Performs building and equipment preventative maintenance duties Assists team members and other departments as needed to contribute to operational efficiency Ensures all maintenance areas and equipment are clean, organized and secured Maintains basic knowledge of fire safety equipment, refrigeration, pool and elevator operation Maintains operational knowledge of common power and hand tools Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership Provide property and parking lot security on afternoons and overnights Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism Conduct work-related functions in a professional manner CPO certified or willingness to obtain license Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Business Efficiency Communication Coordinating Landscaping Leadership Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
