JOB SUMMARY Physicians provide comprehensive care for the appropriate patient population including diagnosing and treating a wide variety of illnesses that can occur in any of the body systems.
Physicians use a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic techniques to treat patients through medication and hospitalization.
Responsible for meeting, assessing and diagnosing patients and providing them with healthcare services that embody the St.
Luke#s mission, The Patient Above All Else.
Prescribes patients with appropriate procedures, medication, health regimens and lifestyle adjustments that will contribute to their recovery from diagnosed health issues, prevent future health issues and promote a healthier life.
MINIMUM
Qualifications Education:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Experience:
Completion of accredited residency program and fellowship program.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Current or pending license in Minnesota and/or WI to practice as Physician.
Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration for prescription writing in Minnesota and/or Wisconsin.
Board eligible or Board certified in the appropriate specialty PREFERRED
